How do I know if my compost is breaking down? Remember to check via your hatch door to see how well your compost is breaking down. If it looks too dry at the bottom of your bin add more GREENS - fleshy, wet material such as fruit and vegetable waste. If it is too wet, add more BROWNS - woody material and scrunched up paper and card. Even glossy paper can be composted. |
