A BIG thank you to everyone who entered our slogan competition. It was a very difficult decision, but after much deliberating, the judging panel finally agreed on a winning slogan for the scheme.

Congratulations to Jean Heath from Rossendale, whose winning entry



will be used as the slogan for the scheme, Jean wins a £20 garden centre voucher and a copy of Pauline Pears acclaimed book, 'All about compost'.

There appear to be quite a few poets amongst you so we have decided to post some of your poems in 'Compost Poetry Corner'.
